Sam is the president of Beacon Wealthcare and believes that quality healthcare is a fundamental requirement of breaking the cycle of poverty. “When I heard of the surprisingly high unserved need in my own neighborhood, I was eager to join the NeighborHealth effort to bring excellent primary care to our city’s most vulnerable.”

Kim has worked for Cherokee Gives Back Foundation since 2003. She is active in her community as a volunteer with leadership and mentoring programs. “I joined the NeighborHealth board because I’m passionate about the work we are doing in the community to provide quality healthcare to all.”

Linval is an administrative nursing supervisor with UNC WakeBrook in Raleigh.

Mike is a commercial real estate broker with Waldrop Properties, LLC. “I’m excited to work with NeighborHealth to bring Christian-based healthcare to those in need in our community.”

Susanne has nursing experience in both hospital and clinic settings. Beginning with initial steering committee meetings, she has worked to establish NeighborHealth’s vision of compassionate primary care. “Loving my neighbor through healthcare is a calling for me as a Christian. I’m excited to be a part of the NeighborHealth team.”

Wilson is a senior tax associate at Thomas, Judy & Tucker, PA. who seeks ways to utilize his analytical skills as a CPA to serve others. When Wilson heard about NeighborHealth’s vision, he was immediately drawn to its potential for significant impact on providing accessible healthcare to those in need.“I see NeighborHealth’s deeply held Christian principles as a major strength and evidence that the organization will flourish in its mission.”

Nicole Herriott is a bilingual family nurse practitioner, serving patients at UNC Rex Express Care.

“Having worked with underserved populations, I’ve seen poverty and how it affects the health and well-being of entire communities. I am committed to seeing lives changed through compassionate and high-quality, community-based care.”

Bridget is an employment lawyer with K&L Gates and mother of four children. “I see providing healthcare as a concrete way to follow the way of Jesus.”

Kelly is a public policy professional with broad experience in the health care arena, including hospitals, technology and publicly funded programs. “I’m privileged to be part of an organization that exists to care for those who have few quality treatment options and loves on them at the same time.”
