Celebrating a Well-Deserved Retirement!
Happy Trails to Susan Metts

We bid a happy retirement to a very special member of the NeighborHealth Center family. We are so incredibly fortunate that Susan Metts spent the past 5+ years sharing her God-given gifts and talents with us. Her passion for our mission and what we do has helped us in countless ways and will continue to help shape the future of NeighborHealth long after she’s retired.
Susan, we are beyond grateful for all you have done to support us and our community. Enjoy your well-deserved free time!
Join Our Mission: We’re Hiring!
Help Us Bring Quality, Affordable Care to Those Who Need it Most
NeighborHealth Center is expanding, and we are looking for mission-aligned providers passionate about health equity and primary care for all. We are currently seeking:
- Family Medicine Physicians
- Nurse Practitioners
- Physician Assistants
If you or someone you know wants to make a meaningful difference in our community, please share these opportunities with your network. Every connection helps us strengthen our care team.
A Transformational Milestone:
In-House Pharmacy Coming Fall 2026
Bringing Affordable, Accessible Medications Directly to Our Patients
We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to funding from generous contributors, our in-house pharmacy will soon become a reality! Establishing the NeighborHealth Center Pharmacy has been a long-term organizational goal since we opened the Susanne Berger Clinic in 2022.
This project will make it much easier for patients to access, afford, and benefit from their medications exactly as prescribed. By integrating pharmacy services directly into our care model, we will improve health outcomes, reduce unnecessary expenses, and help patients avoid emergency department visits.
Welcoming Our New Providers
Meet the Latest Additions to the NeighborHealth Family
We are excited to welcome three fantastic new providers to our clinical team:

Arjun Bhattarai, PA-C, MPH (Physician Assistant)
Arjun is passionate about building meaningful, long-term relationships with his patients and their families. His medical journey began as a care coordinator in Buffalo, NY, where a life-changing relationship with a terminally ill patient inspired him to pursue clinical training. Arjun earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland, a Master of Public Health, and completed his Physician Assistant training at the Yale School of Medicine. He has also participated in global health mission work in rural Nepal. At NeighborHealth, Arjun focuses on whole-person care to serve Christ by serving the underserved. He speaks Nepali and Hindi and lives with his wife and four children.

Justin Oyler, LCSW (Integrated Behavioral Health Program Manager)
Justin joined NeighborHealth in December 2025, bringing extensive experience spanning emergency department care, outpatient clinics, program development, and quality value-based health networks. Originally from California, Justin relocated to North Carolina in 2023. He earned his Master of Social Work & Business from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University. Outside of work, Justin and his family love exploring the NC outdoors through camping, hiking, and mountain biking.
