A Letter from our CEO
Six months ago, I began a personal journey, praying that the Lord would lead me to a Christian non-profit organization where I could lead using my unique gifts and skills. Never could I have imagined that he would bring my family and me across the county to be a part of the NeighborHealth team. I am truly honored.
Last week, I had the opportunity to spend half a day in the clinic. As I walked around and visited with staff, I saw their compassion, professionalism, and passion as they cared for some of the most vulnerable and underserved in our community. Our team not only loves their patients, but they love serving at NeighborHealth and working in a caring environment. I also noted how busy the clinic was and learned that we see up to 100 patients a day! For many, NeighborHealth is their only access to healthcare
It’s abundantly clear that the Lord is working and that He will continue to impact the community and his kingdom through NeighborHealth. As I look at how far the organization has come in three years and begin to brainstorm about the future, Proverbs 3:5-6 comes to mind.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
As leaders, our deepest desire is to submit to Him, knowing that He will make the path for the future of NeighborHealth very clear.
The organization has grown in a short time. With such quick growth come new challenges and many opportunities. Over the next six months, my main focus is to ensure that our leadership and staff are equipped to meet our community’s growing needs. Among the ways we plan to do this is through intensive ongoing leadership training for our supervisors and managers, hiring new staff to fill immediate needs, and understanding how we, as leadership, can better support our team. We will also be working as a team to put together a strategy for 2023 that will allow us to expand our services and programs. In addition, we will be sharing some inspiring updates and plans in the coming months. This is an exciting time to be a part of NeighborHealth.
I want to conclude by thanking our staff, board, patients, and all of you who have made this life-changing ministry possible. I am grateful for those who have paved the path and truly honored and humbled to lead NeighborHealth through this next season of growth.
With gratitude,
Daniel Lipparelli, CEO
